The International Conference of the Portuguese Society of Genetics 2025<\/strong>, promoted by the Sociedade Portuguesa de Gen\u00e9tica (SPG), welcomes everyone with an interest in Genetics. The program will cover a wide range of topics, with a particular focus on Animal, Plant, Microbial, Biomedical, and Evolutionary Genetics. The conference will feature renowned speakers who will share their latest breakthroughs in the field.<\/span><\/p>

This year’s conference will be held at <\/span>Instituto de Tecnologia Qu\u00edmica e Biol\u00f3gica Ant\u00f3nio Xavier<\/strong> (ITQB NOVA) at Oeiras. On behalf of ITQB NOVA and SPG, the organising committee warmly invites students and researchers working in Genetics to join us for this two-day event. The Sociedade Portuguesa de Gen\u00e9tica (SPG), founded in 1973, promotes genetics in Portugal and fosters national and international collaboration. It organizes weekly seminars and “Hot Topics” debates, offering the research community opportunities to engage with leading scientists. Additionally, SPG provides educational resources to support training and knowledge exchange.<\/span><\/p>
